A boy has died after he was in a collision with a lorry in Essex, police said. Police were called to the scene in Epping Road, Ongar, at around 4.20pm on Friday, where a 48-year-old man from Derbyshire was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries by dangerous driving. He has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the child died in hospital, Essex Police said.The man has been bailed until mid-September while officers continue their investigation.Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have dashcam, CCTV or other footage of it, to contact them quoting incident 1045 of July 10. A police spokesman said: 'Officers investigating a fatal collision in Ongar continue to ask for witnesses and dash cam footage.'We were called at around 4.20pm on Friday 10 July to a collision involving a lorry and a child at Epping Road.
