President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced an upcoming reshuffle of Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers as part of a new political strategy, as well as changes in the leadership of the country's law enforcement agencies.
The President made the announcement on Telegram following a meeting with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, Ukrinform reports.
"Personnel changes will begin in Ukraine to ensure the implementation of the updated political strategy. We discussed the details with Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. We determined that these changes require a renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers. I am grateful to Yuliia for her clear, steady, and effective work as Prime Minister, for her years of productive service on Ukraine’s team, and I have offered her the opportunity to lead a new and important area of relations with a key partner. I expect that, together with MPs, we will make the corresponding changes in the Government of Ukraine. There will also be changes among the heads of law enforcement agencies," Zelensky said.
According to the President, Ukraine is revising its political strategy.
"Each priority area of foreign policy will be assigned to a specific person with substantial experience who is capable of implementing what we agree on at the leaders’ level and what the Ukrainian people expect," Zelensky said.
