Soldiers from the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov" used drones to strike the infrastructure of a secret Russian base in Novoamvrosiivka, Donetsk region, which had been supplying fuel to a wide section of the front line.
According to Ukrinform, details of Inferno Operation were published on the Telegram channel of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov.”
As the military noted, “petroleum products are the lifeblood of war. To supply the occupying forces, the Russians had long been building a network of logistics hubs that they considered safe from Ukrainian attacks.”
The report states that “UAV operators from the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine ‘Azov’ disrupted the enemy’s plans. After conducting thorough reconnaissance, they struck a secret base in Novoamvrosiivka with precision strikes using Hornet drones. Tankers and the base’s infrastructure were damaged, and the railroad tracks were blocked.”
The 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov” emphasized that “the destruction of the storage facility has now complicated life for the occupiers. But most importantly, they are forced to abandon the base and withdraw their logistics from the occupied territories to the Russian Federation.”
