A man who suffered severe burns in a large factory fire in Aspropyrgos, west of Athens, has died at KAT Hospital.
He was one of three people who sustained serious burn injuries in the blaze, which broke out at a recycling facility on Thursday morning.
Eleven people were hospitalized after the fire, including victims with burns and breathing difficulties.
Two patients with severe burns were intubated at Thriasio Hospital, while others were treated at Attikon and later transferred to KAT.
The blaze destroyed the facility and sent thick smoke over the area. Fire officials are investigating the cause.
