LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Anti-narcotics operatives arrested two alleged drug pushers, including a minor, and seized an estimated P659,600 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal, on Friday.
In a belated report, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (RPPO) said members of the Binangonan Municipal Drug Enforcement Team arrested a 20-year-old suspect identified only by the alias “Kiel” and his minor companion after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to an undercover police officer in Barangay Calumpang at around 6 a.m.

Authorities said they recovered eight heat-sealed plastic sachets containing approximately 97 grams of suspected shabu. Two mobile phones believed to have been used in illegal drug transactions were also seized for forensic examination.FEATURED STORIES
“Kiel” remains in police custody and is facing charges for alleged violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
