South African football has been plunged into mourning following the tragic passing of Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams at the age of 25.
Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed the heartbreaking news on Saturday, bringing an abrupt end to the life of one of the country’s brightest football talents. The circumstances surrounding Adams’ death were not immediately disclosed by the club.
“It is with heartfelt sorrow that Mamelodi Sundowns can confirm the passing of highly talented Bafana Bafana midfielder, Jayden Adams,” the club said in a statement.
