Hanwha Life Esports just reminded the world why they picked up Gumayusi. The three-time world champion posted zero deaths in Game 4 against LYON, slamming the door on the series with a 3-1 victory in the MSI 2026 bracket stage.
A masterclass in staying alive
Gumayusi’s Game 4 performance was the exclamation point on what was already a dominant series from HLE. The ADC player, who joined the roster on November 23, 2025 after his storied run with T1, has slotted into HLE’s lineup like he was always meant to be there.
HLE’s MSI 2026 squad features Zeus in the top lane, Kanavi in the jungle, Zeka in mid, and Delight on support.
LYON, for their part, came into this matchup riding high. The North American squad had dismantled G2 with a clean 3-0 sweep in the earlier bracket rounds. LYON’s star ADC Berserker had even claimed before the series that he was “just as good as Gumayusi.”
