A nursing mother in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has accused operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of violently invading her family's residence in the early hours of Friday.

The woman said the operatives allegedly assaulted her and her husband, damaged their property, seized several phones and a vehicle, and took her husband away to an unknown destination.

The woman, whose emotional account has circulated on social media, said she remained unaware of her husband's whereabouts several hours after the operation despite repeated visits to an EFCC office in Port Harcourt.

According to her, the incident occurred between 3am and 4am when more than 30 armed men allegedly arrived at their residence without prior notice.
