It described their freedom as a moment of relief while urging the Federal Government to intensify efforts to prevent future kidnappings.

The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has commended security agencies for the safe rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted from schools in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

It described their freedom as a moment of relief while urging the Federal Government to intensify efforts to prevent future kidnappings.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Executive Director of RULAAC, Okechukwu Nwanguma, said the safe return of the victims was encouraging but warned that the incident underscored the persistent threat kidnapping poses to schools and communities across Nigeria.

"The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) warmly welcomes the safe release of the teachers and children abducted from Orire in Ogbomoso, Oyo State," the organisation said.
