In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian troops are transporting fuel in tanks concealed inside grain trucks.
According to Ukrinform, the National Resistance Center reported this.
“The occupying army continues to seek new ways to supply fuel to Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories covertly. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have begun transporting fuel in plastic tanks placed inside grain trucks, which they then fill with grain and cover with tarps to conceal them,” the statement reads.
In this way, the Russian troops are using civilian transport as a cover to supply their own units with fuel.
“Such incidents indicate the Russian army’s growing difficulties in delivering fuel to the front lines. Due to constant logistical losses, the occupiers are forced to resort to covert transport schemes, using civilian infrastructure as cover and posing an additional threat to civilians in the temporarily occupied territories," the National Resistance Center notes.
