Singer and pioneer of the CopaceticMusic movement, Adebayo Olotu, aka BYTunes, has said his recent relocation to Los Angeles, United States, will help take the new genre of music to a wider international audience while preserving its Nigerian roots.
According to him, he deliberately remained in Nigeria for some years to develop the movement before expanding globally.
“I truly decided to wait back home for a few more years to be able to do some grassroots works for the new genre of music, CopaceticMusic,” he said.
Describing CopaceticMusic as the “diplomatic evolution” of the style he introduced in 2024, the artiste said his creative process has remained consistent, noting that the sound is a reflection of his continuous evolution as an artiste.
