Vittoria Ceretti stars in the Armani Beauty Dolci Blush campaignArmani BeautyVittoria Ceretti isn’t gatekeeping the beauty secrets she’s learned from sitting in the chairs of some of the best makeup artists in the world, starting with how to apply blush. “It changes during the season, but since it’s summertime, when you have a little bit of a tan, especially if you're on the beach, I like to put it on the high side of my cheeks, a little bit on my nose, and then on my forehead,” she says. “It's like a natural, beautiful sunburned [look].”It’s an apropos makeup tip coming from the face of the new Armani Beauty Dolci Blushes. As the newest Armani Beauty Global Makeup Ambassador, the Italian supermodel also recently starred in the Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation campaign. “Working with a brand that’s Italian has been a full circle moment, especially since Armani was there at the beginning of my career, so coming back to them now, 10 years later, it's like we went all over and now we're here,” Ceretti says. “I loved Mr. Armani, and I love how chic, elegant and modern the brand always was. It just felt right.”Ceretti is also in love with the new Armani Beauty Dolci Blushes, a cream-to-powder formula with a soft matte finish that can be used on the lips too. The long-wearing blush comes in five shades, glides onto skin and boasts buildable color. “I’m obsessed with these blushes,” Ceretti says. “I love that they're easy to apply; they're easy to carry with you everywhere. I'll put it on my finger and go over my cheeks or straight to my lips, or directly put the product on my cheeks. They're very playful—that's the part I love the most. And the packaging is adorable.” Her favorite is the Mauve Blush shade. To celebrate the launch, Armani is hosting two interactive pop-ups in New York for a “La Dolce Vita” experience, first in Manhattan at Chelsea Triangle on July 15, and then in Montauk at The Surf Lodge on July 17 and 18. “There’s going to be a photobooth, a makeup artist to help try out the blushes and fresh pastries,” Ceretti says. “They’ll have coffees and drinks based on the colors of the blushes. It's going to be beautiful and fun.”A rendering of the Armani Beauty Dolci Blush pop-up in MontaukArmani BeautyOf course, it wouldn’t be an Armani Beauty launch without a campaign, which Ceretti went to Barcelona to shoot. “We were there for a few days and it’s great to be on a set where everybody gets along and understands the mood, and there’s a clear vision, and everybody's in on it,” she says. “It's a fun ride once everyone's in on the same vibe. It felt very natural and smooth. It all came together perfectly. When things happen so easily on a shoot like that, it was always meant to be.”When she’s not in front of a camera, Ceretti keeps her beauty routine simple. She curls her eyelashes and applies eyebrow gel and concealer when she feels like she needs it. “If I'm going to have a full day out, then it's concealer, blush, tons of lip balms and a little mascara. I love the Armani Vertigo Lift Mascara; it's a really good one, and the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation—I actually do really wear these products.”Ceretti in the Armani Beauty Dolci Blush campaignArmani BeautyOne of Ceretti’s favorite lessons was learning a better way to apply her foundation. “I used to do differently before, and I do it another way now,” she says. “I put two pumps on the palm of my hands, warm it up, tap it over my face first and then massage it in, like I would with a moisturizer. It gives that natural, no-makeup makeup coverage situation that’s easy for everyday.”Ceretti’s skincare routine is equally breezy. “I have tried to limit my skincare to a very few products,” she says. “I don’t do moisturizer in the morning; I just do sunscreen. At night I'll double cleanse with two different cleansers, and then azelaic acid, which I swear by, and retinol, which I also swear by, and moisturizer.”The new Armani Beauty Dolci BlushesArmani BeautyHaving a front row seat to every beauty fad taught Ceretti a thing or two. “I think I’ve tried out every single trend at the time when it was trending,” she says. “The one thing that I stuck with over time was less is more, so I never went over what felt right to me. My mom taught me that less is more, so even though I was following the trends and trying them out, I would still go light. Even though many things changed, I carried that throughout the last 10 years. When you're playing with your natural features and they're coming out, it's so much more special.”
