GAMU, Isabela – The Batanes provincial government has suspended all government work starting at 3 pm on Friday to shield its workers from Typhoon Inday.
In his executive order, Batanes Gov. Ronald Aguto said the suspension “will provide enough time for government employees to travel home safely and to prepare their homes” before the expected strong winds and heavy rains begin on Friday night.
