The leadership of Orisun Igbomina, a socio-cultural and political advocacy group in Kwara State, has raised fresh concerns over the deepening crisis rocking the Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), warning that the ruling party risks a major implosion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group said the emergence and growing influence of a certain G15 Coalition has exposed widening cracks within the party, stressing that the current atmosphere of confrontation and political division threatens the APC's continued dominance in Kwara State.
In a statement signed by its National President, Chief Gbenga Awoyale, Orisun Igbomina described the situation within the party as a dangerous one capable of handing a strategic advantage to the opposition parties.
According to the group, the G15 Coalition has transformed into a formidable political movement that can no longer be dismissed, bringing together a broad coalition of influential stakeholders across the APC.
