Police arrest four over Witbank looting while probing fatal shooting of 19-year-old.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the looting of spaza shops in Witbank, Mpumalanga, while police have also launched a murder investigation following the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man.
The suspects, three men and one woman aged between 22 and 52, were arrested on Thursday, July 9.
Police said they were found in possession of items believed to have been stolen during the looting, which took place on the evening of Wednesday, July 8.
Police have charged the four suspects with possession of suspected stolen property.
