Police responded to reports of a group breaking into container tuck shops along Embuthweni Main Road in Unit 4, Mpumalanga township, Woody Glen.
Officers arrived on scene and found one suspect inside a tuck shop, who was immediately arrested.
Four others were cornered and apprehended as they attempted to flee the area.
