Near the village of Odai in the Shyriaieve community of the Odesa region, a traffic accident involving a minibus and a truck occurred on Thursday morning. One person died, and five others were injured.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region reported this.
According to police, a MAN truck collided with a Mercedes minibus that was providing private passenger transportation services.
“According to preliminary information, there were 15 passengers and the driver inside the minibus. As a result of the accident, one person is believed to have died, and five others sustained injuries,” the statement said.
Police added that traffic heading toward Odesa is currently partially restricted.
