On the morning of July 28, a car exploded in the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, injuring the driver.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the Odesa Regional Police Department's website.
Police reported that the incident occurred around 8 a.m. in the courtyard of a high-rise building on Semen Palii Street.
“The 49-year-old driver of the crossover was injured in the explosion. Medical personnel examined the man at the scene. Preliminary findings indicate that the car exploded just as the driver started the SUV and began moving,” police said.
An investigative team and police bomb disposal experts are working at the scene.
