Following the identification of a second Baluch fisherman killed during U.S. military strikes on the dock at Bandar Kohastak in Sirik County, the number of formally identified victims from this specific attack has risen to two.

The Balochistan Human Rights Documentation Network reported that the second victim has been identified as Morteza Hormozi, approximately 25 years old, son of Shanbeh, and a resident of Bandar Kohastak in Sirik County.

Previously, Omid Arabi, approximately 26 years old and also a resident of Bandar Kohastak, had been identified as another fatality of the bombardments.

Several Baluch fishermen and sailors were killed, and others were wounded by shrapnel during the U.S. military strikes on the port of Bandar Kohastak, though a precise and comprehensive casualty count has not yet been released. Another deceased victim is reportedly a resident of Minab, but his identity has not yet been formally verified.

The mounting reports of civilian casualties in southern Iran come amid serious contradictions in the official figures released by the Islamic Republic.
