Outgoing Sanral CEO Reginald Demana

Sanral CEO Reginald Demana has resigned, the roads agency announced in a notice published on the JSE's Stock Exchange News Service (SENS) on Thursday morning.

His resignation takes effect on August 31, with the agency saying he was leaving "to take up a new opportunity that aligns with his long-term career ambitions".

The board will begin recruiting a new CEO and will appoint an acting CEO by July 17 at the latest to support a smooth handover.

"Noteholders are advised that Reginald Demana, who joined Sanral as chief executive officer in January 2023, has tendered his resignation as CEO of Sanral, effective 31 August 2026," the agency said.
