April’s draft was a rare highlight for New York Jets fans. Vera Nieuwenhuis / APJuly 9, 2026 5:30 am EDT Updated The New York Jets undoubtedly had a terrible 2025 season — it was, in many ways, inexcusable. Despite that, there are reasons for optimism on the horizon (emphasis on the horizon): The collection of assets general manager Darren Mougey has accumulated, both in draft capital and cap space, has the Jets in position to load the roster up with young talent. They started that process this offseason by using three first-round picks and a second-round pick on players who should make an immediate impact. Next spring could bring the crown jewel; the 2027 NFL Draft class is loaded with quarterback prospects, and the Jets, again, own three first-round picks.

But first, Mougey and coach Aaron Glenn have to show enough in 2026 to prove they deserve to stick around. That brings us to this fan survey — an exercise I hope to make an annual one — to find out exactly where you, the reader, stand on the Jets, this regime, the present, and the future. What’s your level of belief in Mougey? Glenn? Frank Reich? Geno Smith? Woody Johnson? Which veteran addition has you the most excited? What are you concerned about? What excites you about this year’s team? How many games will it win? It’s time to get your thoughts on the state of the Jets. Results will be posted next week.(Note: Readers using our app on an Android device might need to use two fingers to scroll through the survey.
