The vision centres on a 'diverse neighbourhood', bringing with it 48,000 local jobs and 15,000 new homes.United stated that the mixed-use development spanning 150 hectares has the potential to deliver a £7.3bn per annum boost to the UK economy.Councillor Tom Ross, Leader of Trafford Council, said: "We want to create a great place to be, not just on matchdays but every day."United confirmed that no decision has yet been reached regarding the fate of the existing Old Trafford stadium.
