July 8 (Asia Today) -- Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung is expected to meet Georgia Gov. Brian P. Kemp in Scotland this week to discuss future investment plans as the PGA Tour gets underway there.

Kemp's office said Tuesday the governor will visit Scotland and Ireland and meet Chung and other senior Hyundai Motor Group officials during the Genesis Scottish Open.

Georgia is home to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, which held its grand opening last year.

Kemp's office said Hyundai has maintained a strong relationship with Georgia for two decades, investing hundreds of millions of dollars and creating 12,000 jobs in the state.
