Solutions developed by three companies—including two foreign ones—for intercepting enemy UAVs, with the support of the NATO-Ukraine Center, are already successfully operating in Ukraine.
Colonel Valerii Vyshnivskyi, the Center’s Director of Program Implementation and Ukraine’s Senior National Representative to JATEC, spoke about this in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Solutions from three companies are already in operation in Ukraine. These are interceptor drones from the German company TYTAN Technologies. This company has opened a representative office and is already operating in Ukraine. Additionally, the French company Alta Ares, which provides AI-based target-tracking software for the ‘Elf’ and ‘Bahnet’ interceptor drones, also opened a representative office in Ukraine in May,” said the officer from the NATO-Ukraine Center.
In addition, he noted that the Ukrainian company DONS, which develops countermeasures against FPV drones—both fiber-optic and radio-controlled—has already conducted a series of tests in Germany and maritime trials under the supervision of NATO’s Transformation Command in France.
