Businessman Shaun Roos faces serious bribery charges.
Construction boss, Shaun Roos of Triple C Maintenance Services (Pty) Ltd has revealed via his legal team that he will appeal his bail after it was denied in his criminal matter while his company has managed to maintain its machinery following an urgent application by one of its creditors and has vowed to revive his business.
The Western Cape High Court has struck an urgent application by Much Asphalt (Pty) Ltd from the court roll, ruling that the company failed to demonstrate the level of urgency in which it sought authorisation to secure movable assets owned by Triple C Maintenance Services (Pty) Ltd and claimed that it owned R23 869 365,55.
The ruling means that Much Asphalt may still pursue its application through the normal court process but has been denied urgent relief.
Triple C construction boss, Shaun Roos, is accused of bribing City manager Lungelo Mbandazayo with R1.4 million to influence tender outcomes and halt investigations into his company.
