The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck two oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk (Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation).

According to Ukrinform, the Special Operations Forces command reported this on Facebook.

According to the report, on the night of July 8, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces struck the TANECO oil refining complex and the TAIF-NK oil refinery. Several Special Operations Forces drones successfully reached their targets.

TANECO is one of the largest and most modern oil refineries in the Russian Federation. The facility has a refining depth of up to 99%. This means that for every metric ton of crude oil, the plant produced more gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel than many older refineries.

TAIF-NK is the second-largest oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk. Its capacity is up to 8.5 million metric tons of crude oil per year. It includes one of Russia’s most sophisticated complexes for processing heavy oil residues.
