Ukrainian forces struck the Taneco oil refinery in Russia's Republic of Tatarstan on August 19 and overnight on August 20, as well as the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in the Krasnodar Krai.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.

A hit followed by a fire was recorded at the Taneco oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk.

Taneco has the capacity to process up to 16 million tonnes of crude oil per year. It produces a wide range of petroleum products, including motor fuels and other refined products. The refinery is involved in supplying the Russian military.
