The gunmen who opened fire on Zimbabwe and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Divine Lunga's car in Hillbrow, Johannesburg, are still at large, police said on Wednesday morning.
The 31-year-old escaped unharmed when shots were fired at his BMW on Sunday, with a case of attempted murder opened at the Hillbrow police station.
Police spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko told IOL on Wednesday morning that no arrests had been made.
Sibeko previously said: "I can confirm that a case of attempted murder was opened at Hillbrow police station following an incident that occurred on Sunday."
