The competition commission has approved the documentation for prospective bidders in a tender to build 1.5 GW of new power generation capacity.
According to Ukrinform, First Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram.
"The competition commission has officially approved the rules and requirements for participants. Potential investors now have 20 days to submit their comments and proposals," Shmyhal wrote.
According to him, each project eligible for the tender must have guaranteed generating capacity of at least 10 MW, include a second level of physical protection, be capable of operating during a blackout when the external grid is de-energized, and have a guaranteed service life of at least 20 years or 100,000 operating hours.
