The Institute of Konkani, School of Languages and Cultural Studies, at St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, has invited applications for its Konkani Pratibha I and II Certificate Courses in Konkani Language and Cultural Studies.The programme is open to undergraduate students as well as members of the general public who wish to learn the Konkani language and gain an understanding of its rich cultural heritage.The course is offered in two levels — Konkani Pratibha I and Konkani Pratibha II. The course duration is six months for each level (one semester), comprising 30 hours of instruction. Candidates who have completed Konkani Pratibha I are eligible to enrol for Konkani Pratibha II.The programme features an AI-empowered syllabus, the flexibility to study Konkani in Roman, Devanagari, or Kannada script, and a blended teaching approach with periodic online and classroom sessions.Applicants should have passed Pre-University (or equivalent).
