The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine militarily, financially, and politically. However, it no longer has the capacity to provide Patriot missiles from its own stockpiles. The country has already supplied Ukraine with a complete Patriot air defence system and Patriot interceptor missiles. At the same time, the Netherlands is calling on other European allies to step up their support for Ukraine in this area.

This was stated by Jurriaan Esser, spokesperson for the Dutch Ministry of Defence, in an exclusive comment to Ukrinform's correspondent in The Hague.

"We have already delivered Patriot interceptor missiles and a complete Patriot system from our own stocks. The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine militarily, financially, and politically. We are committing EUR 3 billion annually, with this funding secured through the end of 2029. We are currently working to spend these billions in the most effective and efficient way possible so that Ukraine receives exactly what it urgently needs. Our priority is supporting Ukrainian drones and air defence systems. The Netherlands remains fully committed to supporting Ukraine. It is essential that all European countries make their fair contribution. This is in the interest of our collective security," Esser said.
