PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The Philippine Coast Guard Zamboanga station (PCG Zamboanga) has placed its personnel and assets on heightened alert for Super Typhoon Bavi, which will be named Inday once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Lt. Commander Vincent Bryan Marcos, PCG Zamboanga station commander, confirmed the activation of the Deployable Response Group (DRG) to ensure readiness for immediate deployment for the typhoon predicted to bring severe weather on its path.
