Prince Thulani kaGqikazi Zulu has rejected reports that he has been fired from his position as the spokesperson of King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and the Zulu nation.
Prince Thulani kaGqikazi Zulu has denied reports that he has been dismissed as the spokesperson for King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and banned from entering the royal palaces.
The prince, from the Ezibindini Royal House, said he had not received any official communication informing him that he had been removed from the position, despite widespread media reports claiming he had been replaced.
The reports allege that Prince Thulani was dismissed during a meeting at Mashobeni Palace on Friday, where King Misuzulu is said to have instructed that he should no longer visit the royal palaces.
The alleged fallout follows the circulation of a voice note on social media in which Prince Thulani is heard sharply criticising one of the King's close confidants, Zanemvula Ndamase.
