PARIS — French creative consulting group Mazarine has named former Vestiaire Collective global communications chief Marie Tobaly Meurisse chief of staff to founder and chief executive officer Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, a newly created role designed to support the luxury communications group’s international expansion and acquisition strategy.
The appointment goes beyond a traditional chief of staff position. Tobaly Meurisse will oversee Mazarine’s corporate communications, including public, influencer and external relations as well as social media, content and events, while supporting Reiffers in implementing the group’s strategic priorities as Mazarine continues to expand internationally. She will also join the group’s strategic committee.
The appointment is effective immediately.
“Marie’s global expertise in the luxury and fashion space will be a strong asset as we accelerate our international expansion following our recent acquisitions, and I am confident she will play a key role in strengthening our corporate image worldwide,” Reiffers said.
The hire comes as the independent communications group accelerates its international ambitions. Mazarine has expanded well beyond its flagship communications agency through a series of acquisitions, building a portfolio that now includes creative agency La Mode en Images, Numéro magazine and experiential businesses across luxury, fashion, art and culture with its subsidiaries Mazarine Experience and Arter, a producer of artistic and cultural events that Mazarine bought two years ago.
