MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday, July 6, advised motorists to expect heavier traffic in parts of Manila, Quezon City and Parañaque because of roadwork and improvement activities that would continue until December.

“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes and allow extra travel time in the affected areas,” it said in an advisory.

One of the ongoing projects under the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is the rehabilitation and major repair of Legarda Bridge in Manila, with a completion date of Sept. 20.
