At the American Diabetes Association annual meeting, results from the ACHIEVE-5 trial showed that adding oral orforglipron (Foundayo) to basal insulin significantly improved glycemic control, reduced body weight, and limited the need for insulin intensification without increasing hypoglycemia in adults with inadequately controlled type 2 diabetes.
