And fans at the event can have their picture taken with him in a replica of the Trotters’ flat from the BBC favourite.‌A ticket to the convention in Milton Keynes, Bucks, costs £100 per day. To get their moment with Sir David, fans need to cough up at least £250 more, with the most expensive package including a front row seat at the on-stage talk costing £450 per person.‌The organisers, who have been running the convention since 2020, say: “Sir David Jason is returning once again in person to meet his fans, along with other star guests who have appeared on our screens as part of our beloved Only Fools & Horses.”‌But there are strict rules in place about meeting Sir David, with bosses warning that due to time constraints, he will not be signing any items across the weekend. They also say: “We kindly request no gifts are to be given to Sir David Jason as this will take up all of the allocated time for your photo.” Those not paying for the official meet and greet are also warned that Sir David will not be doing selfies at the event.Sir David has previously spoken of his joy at meeting his fans and of reprising his most famous role. He said: “I do morph into Del sometimes to make people laugh. I enjoy it. I realise it’s a pretty low shot but it makes life easier for me on occasion. When I meet people sometimes, they’re a bit stiff and awkward to get on with.”Only Fools & Horses first aired in 1981 and ran for seven series before returning for Christmas specials from 1991-2003.
