Deb Boy's cocktail bar which featured in the 1980s sitcom 'Only Fools And Horses' is going under the hammer later this month.The freestanding wraparound bar, clad in cream-padded vinyl, was a familiar sight in the Trotters' flat, the place where Del kept his stash of cigars. Fans will also remember the gold pineapple ice bucket that sat proudly on top, with the bar appearing in countless scenes across the long-running series. The piece, made by Italian furniture firm Mascagni Mobili, stands 42 inches tall and 41.7 inches wide. It has been given a guide price of £500 to £600 but is expected to fetch much more at auction next week.Only Fools and Horses ran on the BBC for seven series between 1981 and 1991, with a further 16 Christmas specials broadcast before the show finally ended in 2003. The hit comedy followed the fortunes of wheeler-dealer Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter and his younger brother Rodney as they tried, and often failed, to make it rich in Peckham. Williams 19.1.92, S.P. Haberfield.'Rachel added: 'This bar is more than just a piece of furniture - it's a slice of British television history.'With its connection to one of the UK's most beloved comedies, it is certain to capture the imagination of collectors and fans of Del Boy and the Trotters.'The bar will go under the hammer at Fieldings' showroom in Stourbridge, West Midlands, on September 25.
