As many as four houses were damaged partially in Uppargalli in Belagavi due to heavy rain on Monday.A car parked in Press Colony was damaged as a tree branch fell on it.Car owner Ashok Chandaragi, who is a Kannada activist, has urged the Forest and other departments to survey all old trees and prune vulnerable branches.Houses of Anil Muttekar, Anand Bhadwankar, Eknath Bhadwankar and Prashant Gorle suffered damage.They have urged the State government to compensate them.
