A member of England’s medical staff stayed behind with him.It is a significant blow for the 36-year-old former Liverpool captain, who was an unused substitute against Mexico. He earned his 90th cap for England when he came off the bench against Panama in the group stage — his only appearance of the tournament so far.“I’m sad because Jordan injured his wrist,” England manager Tuchel told reporters post-match.“It’s quite serious. He’s in hospital. It doesn’t fit with the rest of the evening. I don’t know the procedure.”England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who scored twice to help set up a quarter-final meeting with Norway, added: “He (Henderson) is in a bit of bother, but our medical team have everything under control. I’m not best to give too much detail as I do not know much going on, but everyone was there to support him.”
