Monday's weather: Cold but fine conditions across South Africa, with high fire danger

Cool, clear and cold conditions are expected across most of South Africa on Monday.

Cold but mostly calm conditions can be expected across most of South Africa on Monday, July 6.

However, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of “extremely high” fire danger conditions over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal as well as the Dawid Kruiper and !Kheis municipalities in the Northern Cape.

Gauteng can expect cold conditions with frost in places, but otherwise fine conditions, with lows as low as -1 degrees expected in Vereeniging and 3 degrees in Johannesburg.

Cool conditions are expected across most of SA this week.
