In the Podilskyi district, a residential building was partially destroyed between the seventh and ninth floors, leaving people trapped under the rubble. Another 21-story apartment building suffered structural damage between the third and fourth floors after being struck by debris. Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko shared video from the scene of the residential building struck in the Podilskyi district. In the Darnytskyi district, debris ignited a fire in a 25-story apartment building after striking the fourth floor. Rescuers evacuated 22 residents, while others remained trapped on the upper floors as search-and-rescue operations continued. A separate fire also broke out on the 23rd and 24th floors of a nearby 30-story residential building, prompting another evacuation.
