Teenager Tate Taylor stunned a field that included Olympic gold medallist Letsile Tebogo in the 200m at the Prefontaine Classic on on Saturday. Taylor ran a personal best 19.75 seconds into a headwind while Tebogo finished second in 19.93.Melissa Jefferson-Wooden edged Sha’Carri Richardson in the women’s 100, winning in 10.78 seconds. The thrilling photo finish showed Richardson just behind at 10.79. Collegian Adaejah Hodge was third in 10.80.Botswana’s Collen Kebinatshipi won the men’s 400 in 44 seconds flat, besting American Rai Benjamin (44.11). American Jamal Britt won the 110 hurdles in a personal-best and meet-record 12.86. World record holder Ja’Kobe Tharp was second in 12.91.Olympic gold medallist Masai Russell won the women’s 100 hurdles in a meet-record 12.24 against Tobi Amusan, who finished second in 12.34.Chase Johnson won the women’s shot put with 20.56m while Leonardo Fabbri of Italy claimed the men’s event with a 22.74m effort.
