Chinese battery giant Contemporary Amperex Technology and Hong Kong investment company Lochpine have taken a 20% stake in Kiwi company CarbonScape, which is making graphite materials for battery applications from forestry by-products.Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) is the world’s largest manufacturer of rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles (EVs).

The value
