MANILA, Philippines — Super Typhoon Bavi is forecast to bring strong winds and rain to the country starting Tuesday, July 7, the state weather bureau said.
Although still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday, Bavi is expected to enter by Wednesday, bringing scattered rains.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Bavi is unlikely to make landfall in the Philippines.

However, the agency warned that tropical cyclone wind signals may be raised over the northern and eastern portions of Northern Luzon as early as Tuesday.FEATURED STORIES
