In the Kharkiv region, the mandatory evacuation zone for civilians has been expanded to include communities in the Kupianskyi, Bohodukhiv, and Kharkiv districts; a mandatory evacuation of families with children has been ordered in seven settlements.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The decision was adopted on July 3 at a meeting of the Regional Defense Council.

“We are taking into account a possible escalation of the security situation in border and frontline communities,” Syniehubov noted.

In the Shevchenkivska community, a mandatory evacuation has been ordered for 41 settlements: Arkadivka, Bohodarivka, Vasylenkove, Velyki Khutory, Verkhniozoryanske, Hetmanivka, Horozhanivka, Groza, Zhuravka, Zoryanske, Ivanivka, Kolisnykivka, Lelyukivka, Maksymivka, Mali Krynky, Mykilsk, Myrne, Myropillia, Mlynky, Mostove, Novyi Lyman, Novostepanivka, Ohurtsivka, Odradne, Oleksandrivka, Oleksiivka, Petrivka, Petropillia, Poltava, Raivka, Sazonivka, Samarske, Semenivka, Stavyshche, Stanislavka, Staryi Chyzvik, Sumske, Tetyanivka, Troitske, Khudoyarove, and the village of Shevchenkove.
