A 35-year-old motorist was killed after being run over by a container lorry at Bangra Kuloor in Mangaluru on Friday.The police identified the victim as Sadanand Shettigar, a resident of Thokur.According to police, Shettigar was riding an electric scooter from Mangaluru towards Surathkal when the lorry travelling behind him hit the rear of the scooter at Bangra Kuloor. He fell off the scooter and came under the wheels of the lorry, dying on the spot.The Mangaluru Traffic North police have registered a case against the driver of the lorry belonging to Sri Sai Logistics.
