The attack took place at a flat in Glasgow's east end and saw the victim initially shoved from a first floor window before he was stripped, battered, choked and stabbed.A woman was able to secretly get help for him and so Mr Craig was rescued. Firearms officers were sent to the scene and arrested the duo, who both have a history of violence.The McGinleys both admitted to the crimes at the High Court in Glasgow. John McGinley was jailed for seven-and-a-half years, while his daughter received a six-and-a-half-year sentence.Lord Mulholland told them: "You both could have been facing a murder charge today.
