An orange heat warning for Toronto is expected to continue through Saturday, but the end is in sight for the city’s unbearably hot spell, according to Environment Canada.
Friday will see a similar surge in temperatures that Torontonians have experienced throughout the week: the high is 32 C, but with humidex, it will feel closer to 40. A UV index of 9 or “very high” makes protections from the sun necessary, Environment Canada said.
