Popular local eatery Phat Burger has officially relocated from Malifa to Mulinuu, offering customers a new waterfront setting while awaiting final approval to resume alcohol sales.

Speaking to the Samoa Observer, co-owner Alex Walker said the move has been well received by customers, who have continued to support the business despite the restaurant being unable to serve alcoholic beverages since opening at its new premises three weeks ago.

"It's a little bit different. It's a nicer view," Walker said of the new location. "Customers are really enjoying the space. So even though we had no alcohol, everyone's been enjoying the food. So we're really grateful for all the customers coming in."

The new venue maintains a similar seating capacity to its former Malifa location, although the seating is spread across several areas.

"We're a similar number of seats as we were at Malifa. So that's the same capacity," Walker said.
